The heart of our work?
A team committed to youth success.
Our Work
Western Youth Network (WYN) is working to eliminate Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and their consequences by intervening in the root causes of trauma and advocating for trauma-informed policies and practices in North Carolina’s Appalachia region. WYN currently manages five initiatives to realize its vision of a trauma-free community: mentoring, after school, summer camp, high school success and substance abuse prevention.
