Summer Programming


WYN’s 5-week summer day camp encourages participants to challenge themselves through adventure-based activities in a supportive and supervised environment.  While interacting with students from all across the county, WYN summer program participants strengthen leadership skills and social skills.  WYN Summer Camp keeps students active, provides them with healthy food, and encourages them to step outside of their comfort zone.  Students who are rising 6th – 9th graders are eligible to participate and the program runs for five weeks MondayThursday from 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Times Monday-Thursday
Location All Summer Initiative participants will meet at WYN every morning. Participants are divided into two tribes. Throughout the summer those tribes go on daily adventures. Calendars of summer events are provided at the start of the program.
Program Fees
$125.00 per week Standard Fee
$100.00 per week (if eligible for reduced school lunch)
$75.00 per week (if eligible for free school lunch)
Need Full Scholarship (Complete Sonny Sweet Scholarship Application)
Transportation WYN can provide transportation home for students who would not otherwise be able to attend. Situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
